Miniolea is a versatile, compact tree that is self-fertile and comes into bearing in its second year.  It is very productive and reliable in both warm and cold climates.

It can be maintained as a dwarf tree around 2m with pruning. As a low vigour tree, it perfect for growing in a large pot and also makes and excellent fruiting hedge.

Miniolea has been selected by Australis Plants after many years of research to identify adaptable varieties thay will fruit reliably in both warm and cold climates for home gardens throughout Australia.

      Hi Lani,

If you keep it pruned so it remains compact you could plant 1.5 to 2 m away. Olive trees are shallow rooted and are not invasive. Keep in mind the root size will be in proportion to the canopy size.. small canopy volume/ small root volume
