Arbequina Olive Trees – 90mm pots

Our olive trees are quality commercial stock grown in a professional nursery in south-east Queensland.

The trees are 10-12 months old, 50-80cm tall are sun hardened and ready to plant into the ground or  a large pot.

Arbequina is a famous Spanish olive variety.  This tree is amazing- it starts fruiting at a very young age usually when it is around 30cm tall.  Commercially it is mainly grown for oil production. It produces a small sized fruit that has a high oil content.  It does, however, make a quality table fruit that is usually pickled green . The Spanish usually refer to the fruit as a snack olive because of its small size.  It is a very hardy tree that is a proven performer in both warmer and colder climates. It is tolerant to frost, coastal conditions and salinity. It is a unique olive variety that will produce fruit as far north as Cairns and as far south as Tasmania .  It is one of the most consistent reliable bearing  olive varieties in the world. It is also ideal as an ornamental specimen or screen plant.

We only send trees on Monday to ensure they arrive at their destination before the weekend.
Please note: due to quarantine restrictions plants cannot be sent to Northern Territory, Tasmania  or Western Australia.
