Mulberry Tree – 90mm pots Majestic (Dwarf )
The dwarf Mulberry “Majestic” (Morus nigra) is a small deciduous tree that can be kept at around 3m. The fruit is sweet, black fruit is produced mainly in Spring and is same size fruit as that produced on other larger varieties.
Majestic is a subtropical variety that requires very little winter chilling. Although a low vigor dwarf variety, majestic will still benefit from a light prune in winter to encourage new shoots for improved spring production. Mulberries are very hardy trees that are easy to grow and one of the few fruit trees that can handle poorly drained soils.
They can be grown in large pots and are ideal to plant in the chook house…..providing shade in the summer and letting the light through the winter.
These Mulberry trees are 8-12 months old and 40-70cm tall.
Please note we cannot send trees to TAS, WA or NT due to state quarantine restrictions.
We only send trees early in the week to help ensure they arrive at their destination before the weekend.
