Description

Our olive trees are quality commercial stock grown in a professional nursery in south-east Queensland.

The trees are 10-12 months old, 50-80cm tall are sun hardened and ready to plant into the ground orĀ  a large pot.

Pendulino is a traditional Italian variety originating from the locality Florence. It is widely cultivated in Tuscany and Central Italy. As the name suggests Pendulino is a beautiful olive tree with weeping pendulous form. The fruit is small to medium size. It ripens early/mid season and produces a high quality oil. The fruit can be pickled both green or black.
It grows well in both warm and cold climates but will fruit better in areas with colder winters. Traditionally it is often used as a pollinator for the other Tuscan varieties Frantoio, Correggiola and Leccino.

It makes a great specimen tree and informal hedge.

We only send trees early in the week to try an ensure they arrive at their destination before the weekend.
Please note: due to quarantine restrictions plants cannot be sent to Northern Territory, Tasmania or Western Australia.
