Tahitian limes are the most popular commercial and backyard lime tree. The trees are heavy bearing with medium sized fruit that is very juicy and seedless. They are thornless and easy to grow.
Limes are used extensively in cooking. They are ideal for juicing and are used as an ingredient in a plethora of drinks, cordials and cocktails
Growing well in both warm and cool climates Tahitian limes bear mainly in the Autumn /Winter but usually carry some fruit all year round. They are best picked when full sized and green. The skin will eventually turn yellow if left on the tree.
The trees are grafted onto dwarf rootstock making them ideal for planting in small gardens, large pots or espaliered on a lattice or wall.
