Description

Loquat Springtime (Eriobotrya japonica) is a compact evergreen tree  growing top around 7m tall x 6m wide.  Springtime produces oval shaped fruit that is apricot sized and yellow /orange in colour with a sweet/tart flavour.  The high yielding trees are harvested in late winter/spring

Established trees make excellent shade and screening trees for privacy.

A hardy sub-tropical tree, loquats perform well in most climates throughout Australia. Trees will tolerate temperatures to -10 degrees Celsius.

Our Springtime loquats are grown from seed and will take 4 to 5 yrs to come into bearing.  The trees are 8 to 12 months old and 40 to 70cm tall.  They are sun hardened and ready to plant out.

We send trees early in the week to help ensure they arrive at their destination before the weekend.

Please note: due to quarantine restrictions plants cannot be sent to Northern Territory, Tasmania  or Western Australia.
